Timmy surpassed all of our expectations .... as a show dog, he had a
stellar career, winning numerous Specialties, all breed Groups and a Best
In Show from the Open class. He was Best Of Opposite Sex at the 1997 ASSA
National Specialty in Chicago under judge Linda More. He appeared at two
other ASSA Nationals and has earned an Award Of Merit on both occasions.
Timmy has proven to be a noteworthy sire in North America. He is currently the sire of 9 American champions, with many more offspring being major pointed. In Canada, Timmy is a two time ROMC, having 21 champions (with more to come...) in that country. Two of his progeny are members of the US World Agility Team. Timmy is also the sire of numerous agility and obedience titleholders in the US, England, Canada and Denmark.
As a family member, Timmy was a fun loving, ball
retrieving sweetheart, that slept at the foot of our bed and played like
a puppy
well into his senior years..
Timmy was vWD (VetGen) and eye normal, is OFA excellent and thyroid screened normal.
Timmy produced beautiful puppies, exhibiting his wonderful temperament, sound body and pretty face.

"Greyson" is one of the two new boys we have added to the Toven Gang. "Greyson" is a BIS/BISS Am/Can Ch. Toven Wintertide, Can CD, ROM, ROMC son out of Carmylie Dark After Dawn. He shows much promise with his lovely headpiece, lovely, dark, almond eyes (with eyelashes!) and effortless movement. He is hopefully going to do some serious winning in the future and going to add some new blood (we simply loved his mom!) to our breeding program. Thank you Nadine Iroff!

Shelties).

"Oliver",
comes to us from Jane Davies of FairIsles Shetland Sheepdogs. "Oliver"
is also a Timmy son out of FairIsles Bewitched (Salem #2). Salem #2 is
a Ch. Kelnook Witch's Brew daughter....when her mother (Salem #1) was bred
to Timmy a few years ago, they produced 3 lovely girls (one of which is
Timmy' s #7 American Champion and the other two I believe are pointed).
When Salem #2 came to be bred to Timmy, we jumped at the chance to have a
pick puppy from the breeding.
"Oliver" is a solid blue boy with dark eyes, beautiful head
detail and coat and bone to spare! We think he might just make his
Daddy proud!

"Harper", is somewhat of
a different color for us at
Toven; RED SABLE and white! He is the son of Ch. Topshelf Rydin High out
of the pointed Topshelf Under The Influence, "Tipsey", who is a Ch.
Hannalore Home Run, ROM daughter. Harper is "shared" with his
two "other Moms", Pat Hoover (Juris) and Beverly Polissini (Topshelf)
and is making
himself right at home here at Toven among all the AOAC's.
We weren't sure we wanted a "brown dog" again, but we fell in love with him and whisked him away before his other moms had a chance to say, "NO!"...Many thanks to Pat and Beverly for making us part of your dog family and letting us be owned by the "little red man".
Harper finished his American Championship with a 3rd major handled by Debbie DeNardo and finished Can Ch handled by Shelley McHugh-Boumans. Thank you to Auntie Donna McCulloch for aking such good care of him while in Canada growing coat!
